You might have seen a couple of jokes about the new iPhone Pro because of its interesting camera design. However, Apple never does anything half-heartedly.

The iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max handsets were designed to have three camera sensors on the back. People might joke that the camera sensors look like tarantula eyes but that doesn’t take away from their incredible power according to Popular Mechanics.

iPhone 11 Pro: Wide and ultra-wide lens

The new phone has an Ultra-Wide lens that allows the user to capture more of what’s in front of you in the frame. It’s great when you want to take a shot of something too close and you can’t move backward to fit it in.

The iPhone also features a wide lens and a Telephoto camera which allows you to zoom in two times further than before. However, what’s more incredible is the ability to use the data from all three sensors.

Using all three camera sensors

With the three sensors, you can take better low-light shots and professional-grade cinematic video. By now you’re probably trying to rake together the funds to buy this beast!

That’s not all though! The new phone has video at its highest quality ever with each camera lens able to record 4K video at 60 frames per second!

The magic behind the iOS 13 software

The new iOS 13 software also packs a punch. It comes with new editing tools that make it easier to toggle between footage captured on each sensor.

One such feature is the ability to see all four screens including the front camera. This feature allows the user to take slow-motion selfies at once in a 2×2 grid!

For portraits, one can select wide or telephoto framing to capture people in an image. This makes it easier to create a wider field of view which is essential for shots of multiple people.

Introducing the telephoto camera

The telephoto camera also has an aperture that allows 40% more light in for richer images. The iPhone 11’s High dynamic range (HDR) was also improved by adding Smart HDR.

The feature uses machine learning to identify subjects in a frame. It then relights them for more natural-looking photos that have much more detail.

The iPhone’s advanced True Tone flash

If you’re still not impressed then the True Tone flash which is 30% brighter, should do the trick. The new phone also allows you to opt for an all-screen display to see what you’re capturing outside the regular frame.

The user can also record videos without leaving the photo-mode using the QuickTake mode. The iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max will be available for pre-order on 13 September 2019.

You can buy it in-store on 20 September 2019!
