There’s currently a great sale on some of Ubisoft’s back catalogue games on Xbox. You might see Watch Dogs everywhere, though.

A Watch Dogs twist

That should be big enough news, but it seems that with all the current hacking talk doing the rounds in the news cycle, the hacker collective DedSec from the Watch Dogs series wanted in on the action.

In honour of the upcoming newest instalment, Watch Dog Legion, all the thumbnails and cover images of the Ubisoft back catalogue items on sale have been given decidedly Watch Dogs twist.

The iconic pig mask man features prominently across the artwork. Watch Dogs Legion will release on PC, Stadia, PlayStation 4 and Xbox on 29 October 2020.

Playable on next-gen consoles

There will also be launch titles for both the Xbox Series S/X as well as the PlayStation 5. The game will be available on 10 November for Xbox next-gen consoles.

On the PlayStation, Watch Dogs Legion will release digitally on 19 November 2020.

If you’ve pre-ordered your next-gen console but can’t wait until launch day, you’ll be able to buy the game when it releases on your current-gen console.

It will upgrade for free on launch day regardless of whether you bought a physical or digital copy of the game.

Available Xbox titles

As for the sale, it’s a great bit of marketing from Ubisoft to remind everyone that Watch Dogs Legion is coming. They also offer fantastic deals on their back catalogue for everyone looking to keep busy until their Xbox Series S/X arrives.

The sale has a ton of incredible AAA games at discounted prices, and if you missed out on one of the many great Ubisoft franchises, this might be a great time to catch up on some of the older series.
