Upload VR Showcase game announcements

The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners

Platforms: PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift, Oculus Quest, SteamVR.

The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners is without a doubt one of the biggest VR releases of the year. From visceral combat to realistic physics and engaging gameplay, it has everything you could possibly need.

The new update, Meatgrinder, gets a new mode called The Trails; expect waves of undead, new weapons, new difficulty settings and a new scoring method. The update will be rolled up in July on PC and PSVR. Oculus players will have to wait a while longer.

Stride

Platforms: Oculus Rift, SteamVR.

The April-release has a fresh new look. Even though Mirror’s Edge is similar to the previous release, the gameplay has been tweaked.

A release date has not yet been confirmed, however, we can expect Stride during the 4th quarter of 2020.

Pistol Whip

Platforms: PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift, Oculus Quest, SteamVR.

The rhythm shooter will remind you a bit of John Wick, and that’s a good thing. The PC version was released in 2019; the PlayStation VR version will be released on 28 July 2020.

In addition, the developers announced that a free content update, Heartbreaker, will be released across all platforms in August 2020, followed by the first Action Packs at the end of the year.

Solaris: Offworld Combat

Platforms: PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift, Oculus Quest.

Solaris: Offworld Combat, a 4v4 multiplayer shooter, is set in space. It’s a mind trip, we’ll tell you that much. Get ready to play as an eSports playing in the future.

Oculus players will be happy to hear that Solaris‘ release date is set for August 2020. PlayStation VR gamers will only get it later on.

Wraith: The Oblivion – Afterlife

Platforms: PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift, Oculus Quest, SteamVR.

Wraith: The Oblivion – Afterlife’s teaser was released during the first week of June. However, a short sneak peek at the horror-themed game was debuted at the VR Showcase on 16 June.

The game is set in the World of Darkness universe; a full-length trailer will be coming our way in August. If it’s anything like Vampire: the Masquerade, we simply won’t be able to fault it.

Phantom Covert Ops

Platforms: Oculus Rift, Oculus Quest

Phantom: Covert Ops, a stealth-action game, gets a 25 June 2020 release date. It will feature the voice of David Hayter for General Zhurov.
