EA Play 2019 kicks off today and trust us, you don’t want to miss out. Why? Glad you asked. A special Sims 4 announcement is going down today. It may just be the details of the unofficially confirmed Island Pack.

The Sims 4 will close EA Play’s showcase. Sims 4 was initially released five years ago, and was available for free in the Origin store back in May. So, thanks Origin, yours truly is now hooked and can’t wait for the announcement.

If you’re new to Sims, try it. Really. It’s easy enough to master, it’s gentle on us noobs, and the character creation is a ton of fun. You might need to learn to deal with the power trip that comes with controlling entire beings, though.

There are tons of stuff available on Origin. For the console players, Sony has a PlayStation 4 Days of Play Sale happening right now. You can get the game plus bundles and plenty DLC’s (downloadable content) for a fraction of the price.

Sims 4 Island Living Pack

The Internet is littered with rumours. From what we can tell, it’s titled Island Living. The island pack will come with new features and careers related to the theme.

Screenshots were leaked on Origin, along with a pack description. And mermaids! The island will allegedly be called Sulani, “where the sun shines bright and the nights are totally chill.”

Try out the tropical-inspired outfits, become a conservationist – or a lifeguard, or a diver, or, or – clean up the beaches and dip into the location tradition of Sulani. We can’t wait!
