PS Plus May 2019: Your free Playstation games for the month
If you’re a PlayStation Plus subscriber, you could look forward to downloading these free PSN games during May.

It’s that time of the month again when Sony announces the games that will make up their monthly PlayStation Plus rewards on PSN.
This month is a slightly mixed bag as PlayStation users receive two critically acclaimed games that are far from the Triple-A fare that users are craving.
PlayStation Games for May
This month’s games were probably always going to suffer by comparison when last month gave us Conan Exiles, the sprawling open world survival game.
Overcooked
In contrast, this month we’ll be getting Overcooked, a playful and challenging cooking local co-op game. Overcooked has developed somewhat of a cult following.
The chaotic cooking concept will have you and your closest friends channelling your inner Gordan Ramsay as you plan, prepare and execute your meals before your customers storm off.
Overcooked steps into a huge gap in the PlayStation ecosystem. It delivers a fun playing experience with a low barrier to entry that gets better as you add players. Think Wii Sports, but on Playstation with lots of shouting instead of sweating.
What Remains of Edith Finch
What Remains of Edith Finch is an award-winning game with a compelling story. It pushes the boundaries of the modern adventure game, and delivers a compelling story anthology that adds up to a captivating game.
The title character, Edith, wanders through her family home, interacting with the stories of her dead relatives. Each story teaches Edith more about the last day of her relatives’ lives, and each story ends with their death.
The combination of the fantastically dark story and wonderfully realised Finch home makes this an immersive story. It also happens to be a rewarding PlayStation PSN game.
It won British Academy Games Award for Best Game 2017, and Best Narrative category at both the 2018 Game Developers Choice Awards. In addition, it won The Game Awards 2017, among other awards and nominations.
What Remains of Edith Finch is the second game from developers’ Giant Sparrow. It is also a fantastic follow-up to their critically acclaimed The Unfinished Swan.
