For Fortnite Season 10, the Daily Challenges will be replaced with Limited Time Mission. Don’t stress though, any Challenge that previously required Daily Challenges can now be completed with Limited Time Mission Objectives.

Other updates include changes to the island, and the map is now looking better than ever. Some players have been experiencing stuttering or hitching while in game, especially XBox One players.

Fortnite developers confirmed that they are investigating the matter and will provide more information in due course. For now, lets peak under the hood at some of the biggest updates in Fortnight Season 10.

Fortnite Battle Pass Missions

By far the biggest update, simply head to your Battle Pass tab and use “those shiny V-Bucks and boom, the spoils of victory await.” You can always buy more V-Bucks from the store, if needs be.

To buy a battle pass, you need to launch Fortnite, select ‘Battle Royale’ or ‘Creative.’ Then navigate to the Battle Pass tab and buy either the ‘Battle Pass’ or the ‘Battle Bundle.’

The B.R.U.T.E

We are not quite sure what the letters in B.R.U.T.E stand for, but we can confirm that it’s a two-person mech suit. You’ll feel so powerful in it you won’t even care about the abbreviation.

The driver of the mech suit will be able to dash into combat and stomp enemies and structures. You can also use Super Jump. The passenger is in charge of the weapons. What weapons do you get? We’re so glad you asked.

A shotgun with 10 round clip capable of dealing 50 damage, with a 1.5x multiplier for headshots; and a missile launcher that fires up to 10 missiles at once. Just hold down the trigger to start loading them, it’s as simple as that.

Rift Zones

The Zero Point Explosion that occurred between seasons has caused new Rift Zones to appear. The map will now be a blend of old and new locations.

However, Epic Games said that the locations “won’t quite be the same as they were before.” Epic explains that time is twisted and the ZP has become volatile.” They added:

“Whether you’re nostalgic for the past or excited for the future, there will be plenty for you to discover all Season long. Locations once thought to be lost have begun to appear on the island, but they aren’t the same as they once were.”

New locations

Some of your favourite locations are making a comeback with the Fortnite Season 10 update. Dusty Depot is one point of interest. You’ll recall that the area was originally destroyed by a meteorite back in season 3.

That meteor is now a point of interest in season 10. In addition, the Rift Zone mentioned above will have specific points of interest as well. These, however, will change from week to week.
