Epic Store is adding one free game per week: Get your copy of ‘Last Day of June’

Epic Store announced that they’ll be releasing one free game per week. Up for grabs this week is “Last Day of June.”

Epic have also promised to up the flow of free content with new free games available weekly until year-end as opposed to its previous fortnightly schedule.

Free games are always a sweet treat, and Epic’s recent announcement that they’ll be extending their offer of free games until the end of 2019 is music to our ears.

Last Day of June will be available for free from 27 June to 4 July Head on over to Epic games and pick up your free copy as soon as possible and get a taste for this adventure puzzle video game.

Last Day of June – What you need to know

Last Day of June was created by Italian develop Ovosonico. It’s a puzzle adventure where you go on a magical outing with Carl and June. You need to unlock a sequence of events for the adventures to start.

Epic Games said in a press release that Last Day of June is a “poignant single-player journey. They added:

“In this cinematic experience, players will solve emotionally challenging puzzles in an attempt to turn back time, compelling them to ask themselves ‘What would you do to save the one you love?'”

In addition, the beautifully designed game is an interactive tale about love and loss. The game is translated into more than 10 languages, including French, German, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese and Russian.

Spec-wise, you’ll need a Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows 10 operating system, with an Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4 GHz or equivalent, at the very least about 4 GB of RAM and a NVIDIA GT 630 / 650m GPU or similar.

Previous deal – Rebel Galaxy

If you hurry, you can still get Rebel Galaxy before the deal expires on 27 June. It’s a modern twist on battling pirates, exploring anomalies, encountering aliens, with a good dose of scavenging battle wreckage. What’s not to love!

If you love Rebel Galaxy, you’ll be glad to know that there’s a sequel, Rebel Galaxy Outlaw. According to PC Gamer, there isn’t much tactical depth to the game, but it’s very original as far as space games go.
