15 Days of Free PC Games: Day 2 – Download ‘Oddworld: New n Tasty’ from Epic Store today

The Epic Games Store is giving away 15 games per day for free in its festive season giveaway. Yesterday it was Cities: Skyline for mahala. Today you can get Oddworld: New n Tasty.

We had a feeling that the leaked list on Reddit and Twitter was inaccurate. Surely Epic wouldn’t play the fool two years in a row. Sorry if you were looking forward to getting Dying Light for free yesterday.

‘Oddworld: New n Tasty’ – 18 to 19 December

Oddworld: New n Tasty, which was developed by Just Add Water and published by Oddworld Inhabitants, Inc. back in July 2014, is an action-puzzle platformer to take you on an exciting journey.

Abe was once a happy floor waxer in Oddworld’s biggest meat processing plant until he stumbles across his boss’s secret plan to turn the factory’s slave labour force into the latest in the RuptureFarms Tasty Treats line of novelty meat snacks.

New n Tasty is a remake of the 1997 Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee. The remake takes great care to remain true the creative directive of Abe’s Oddysee, while keeping up with the times in its new 3D engine.

“Abe now has to save his own skin from the grinders, but simply escaping the flesh farm is only the start of his Oddysee – for many dangers await Abe on his journey to discover his destiny”.

You have until 18:00 South African Standard Time (SAST) on 19 December to download Oddworld: New n Tasty for free. Simply head over to the Epic Games launcher to get your copy.

Oddworld is available on Android, PlayStation, Windows, Game Boy, Xbox, Nintendo, macOS, Wii U and Ouya as well.
