Samsung Electronics once again redefined what a smartphone can do with the introduction of its second foldable device, the Galaxy Z Flip.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip was unveiled at the Unpacked event back in February. The innovative foldable flip phone is designed for ultimate portability, with amazing camera specs to boot.
The Galaxy Z Flip is described as Samsung’s “futuristic flagship” and features a first-of-its-kind foldable glass display with ultra-thin glass that “unlocks entirely new ways to capture, share and experience content”.
When folded, the Galaxy Z Flip is a stylish and compact palm-sized device. When unfolded, it’s a full-sized phone with a stunning 6.7-inch Infinity Flex Display.
Samsung is the first mobile manufacturer to feature a 21.9:9 aspect ratio, which takes seamless multitasking to the next level. In fact, one could say that the Z Flip bends the law of physics, in the palm of your hand.

What sets the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip apart
I had the opportunity to play with the Z Flip. Truthfully, Going in, I was more excited about the Galaxy S20 Ultra, but ended up spending most of my time with Z Flip. It truly is a remarkable phone.
From its sleek and stylish design – it is small enough to fit in your pocket – to its game-changing camera and revolutionary hideaway hinge, the phone is everything you could possibly dream it to be.
It also replaces the use of a tripod. Simply flip it up, set it down somewhere and start snapping those stunning photos. It literally stands on its own, which enables you to capture hands-free images on-the-go; anywhere, anytime.

The lotus blossom inspired the Z Flip’s design, and the hideaway hinge ensures a “precisely articulated folding motion” experiences. You can even open it with one hand. It’s glass, but it folds.

Other features
According to Samsung, ‘sweeper technology’ repels dirt and dust from the fold. The manufacturing giant claims that the phone can withstand up to 200 000 folds.
In addition, the device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processors, supported by 8GB RAM, keeping it in line with the latest flagship devices.
CNN rightly described it as “the best foldable yet,” with Jacob Krol from CNN Underscored explains:
“Simply put, the Galaxy Z Flip is the best foldable smartphone. Samsung has done a nice job with this device and got a large portion of it right”.
