As the PUTCO Bus strike continues, the company has told commuters it cannot refund them in cash as ticket sales are processed externally

Putco employees who embarked on an illegal strike were issued dismissal notices and have until 17:00 today to submit representations.

Putco buses in Orlando and greater Soweto have been forced to use alternative routes due to the closure of Klipspruit Valley Road.

Putco said it is not immune to the rising cost of living influenced by fuel hikes, however, it is halting its fare increase, for now.
