It’s the final build for WWE’s new PPV Stomping Grounds. The blue brand looks to add to the excitement.
We’re kicking the night of with The New Day. They come out to hype Kofi Kingston’s WWE Championship match against Dolph Ziggler, in a steel cage. Dolph and The New Day go back and forth on the mic threatening each other.
Dolph Ziggler vs Xavier Woods
Result: Dolph gets the pin after a superkick to Woods while he was tied up in the ropes.
Backstage we see a queue of Superstars lining up to interview for the special guest ref spot for Baron Corbin. Shelton Benjamin, Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel wait there turn, and Matt Hardy comes out looking tense. He tells Senor Benjamin he’s up next. Hah.

Next up, WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion Bayley returns to Alexa Bliss’s A Moment of Bliss. Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross want their coffee first, but out comes Bayley drinking Alexa’s coffee. Alexas points this out to Cross saying how selfish Bayley is. Bayley tries to warn Nikki about Alexa using her. They go back and forth on the mic until Bayley attacks Alexa. Nikki Cross pulls her off and Alexa gets a slap in.
Backstage Apollo Crews confronts Zelina Vega. He wants Andrade, but Andrade attacks him from behind.
Heavy Machinery vs The B-Team
Result: Heavy Machinery pick up the quick win. Daniel Bryan and Rowan are on commentary for this one.
We see footage from earlier in the day when Shane McMahon puts Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn in a match.
Aleister Black cuts another video promo challenging anyone to a fight.
Shane McMahon makes his way out with Elias at his side. They welcome Drew McIntyre. Shane speak on the talent of Drew and is interrupted by The Miz and R-Truth. it looks like we have a match.
Drew McIntyre & Elias vs The Miz and R-Truth
Result: During the match, several superstars come out and take R-Truth’s title, he gets it back and makes a run for it, leaving Miz by himself. Drew McIntyre gets the win with the Claymore Kick. After the match, Drew hits two more kicks on a helpless Miz.
Backstage Ember Moon gets a pep talk from Carmella, and then confronts Mandy Rose and Sony De Ville about their bullying. She losing it and attacks them both before officials break it up.
Firefly Funhouse is up next. Same skit as Monday.
In the parking lot, Drake Maverick is disguised as Carmella, he catches Truth by surprise and pins him for the 24/7 championship. Drake makes a quick getaway in Truth’s rental car.

Result: Kofi and Seth win by 2 fall to 0 to wrap up the match.
