It’s a homecoming of sorts as the The New Day reforms tonight on Smackdown Live. Let’s kick things off with the most must see show on TV, MizTV!

The Miz makes his way down to a good pop from the crowd. He says he’s been told to follow a scrip tonight, but he doesn’t want to do that. He reveals a shirt he’s wearing with a photo of his father. Miz introduces the best in the world Shane McMahon, who is flanked by Drew McIntyre and Elias. After a long interview segment, which sees Elias perform, Miz wants a match against the Miz. Shane says if he can beat Elias and Drew, he will get his one on one dream rematch.

The Miz vs Drew Mcintyre

Result: Drew wins with the Claymore kick.

Shane sees how beaten up Miz is and says he’s give him the match anyways, and the bell rings.

Result: Shane taps out Miz.

Backstage Sonya de Ville and Mandy Rose continue to bully Ember Moon.

The WWE Smackdown Tag Team Champions, Daniel Bryan and Rowan are out to defend against the Yolo County tag team champions in a tag team title unification match. They have paper titles over their shoulders. Hah. Heavy Machinery come out to challenge the champs, and Bryan says they need to get through the Yolo champions first. They accept they challenge.

Result: Heavy Machinery get the easy win.

Backstage, R-Truth and Carmella are on the run. Truth is tired of running. Carmella has a match next, so she helps him hide, but accidentally locks him in a crate. She leaves for her match and Jinder Mahal finds Truth. He pretends to be Carmella, and says he will be back with a crowbar.

Result: De Ville picks up the pinfall win.

In the back, Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross are talking, Alexa says that it’s a shame Nikki has been bullied online, and that Bayley has been liking the tweets, but not to worry, she’s arranged a match against Bayley tonight so Nikki can get her revenge.

The New Day come out along with the returning Big E. They celebrate Kofi’s win over Dolph Ziggler. Speaking of which, here comes the showoff now. He says he would have won if it wasn’t for Xavier’s interference. Dolph brings out KO and Sami Zayn. They call the New Day hypocrites.
