The former Bidvest Wits coach pointed out that he helped the Glamour Boys reach their first-ever Champions League semi-final but was fired before the semi-final was played.

Chiefs went on to lose the final 3-1 to Ah Ahly

“Any victory in the Premier Soccer League (PSL) is a good victory, but for us — in our situation, where we are trying to fight for second — it was pretty much like a cup final.

“I didn’t want to make it like that, but I thought it was a cup final because I knew if they won, they’d be one point behind us, and if we beat them, then it’s all over,” Hunt said.
