The 2016/17 EPL season has finally arrived and judging from the video it’s going to be hella action packed. Here’re the weekend highlights; it’s anybody’s game. Will Leicester City remain champions? Be prepared to be stunned.

A total of nine games took place over the weekend in the opening fixture of English Premier League; there were three draws, six wins, and losses.

Gunners crashed, Foxes thrashed
Hull City stunned 2015/16 champions with a 2-1 win at the KCOM stadium on Saturday.The Tigers erased concerns raised earlier upon the departure of manager, Steve Bruce. Goals came from Adama Diomander and Robert Snodgrass and a consolation by Riyad Manhrez.

Sunday’s game between Liverpool v Arsenal was the ultimate highlight with a total of seven goals produced in one game. Liverpool walloped Arsenal 4-3 in an exciting encounter at Emirates Stadium. The Reds ran a 4-1 lead with a Phillippe Coutino brace and two goals by Adam Lallana and Sadro Mane. The Gunners put on a good game and were able to score a total of three goals in efforts to level the score. A lead goal was by Alexandre Lacazette and later two goals came in by Alex Oxlade- Chamberian and Calum Chambers.

Manchester teams also had a great start. Jose Mourinho, despite his bad season with Chelsea his skippers, were able to secure a 3-1 win against Bourne. Pep Gourdila celebrated a 2-1 win against Sunderland.
