Neymar struck a hat-trick as Paris Saint-Germain destroyed Group C rivals Red Star Belgrade 6-1 in their early kick off at the Parc des Princes.

The Brazilian’s quickfire first half double was added to by goals from Edinson Cavani, Angel Di Maria and Kylian Mbappe before the ex-Barcelona man curled in his second perfect free kick off the night for his third.

Liverpool were stunned 1-0 at the death in the other pool game by Napoli, who sealed a shock three points thanks to Lorenzo Insigne’s 90th-minute effort.

Borussia Dortmund condemned Monaco to a second Group A defeat, with Paco Alcacar making amends for his penalty miss with the second in a 3-0 win, after Jacob Bruun Larsen broke the deadlock early in the second half.

Atletico Madrid were too strong for Club Brugge in the Spanish capital, sealing a 3-1 Group A success thanks to an Antoine Griezmann double and an injury time third from Koke to add the gloss.

Moussa Marega scored the only goal as Porto sneaked a 1-0 win at home to Galatasaray, taking them top of Group D.

In the other early match, Weston McKennie snatched a late winner for Schalke, who won 1-0 at Lokomotiv Moscow.

Real Madrid were stunned by CSKA Moscow on Tuesday night, while Paulo Dybala and Edin Dzeko both struck hat-tricks on Tuesday night.
