Juventus 0-3 Real Madrid

Cristiano Ronaldo had the Juventus fans on their feet with a magical display for Real Madrid in the Champions League quarter-final first leg in Turin.

Yes, you read that correctly.

The Portuguese legend extended his scoring run early on, but it was his second – a scarcely believable bicycle kick – that even the home crowd couldn’t help but applaud.

Ronaldo took just three minutes to net in his tenth consecutive Champions League match.

He sneaked in front of team-mate Karim Benzema to slice in Isco’s centre from the left.

Rafael Varane then skied a free header from a Toni Kroos corner on ten minutes with Juve preoccupied by having to chase the game already.

But Real keeper Keylor Navas had to be at his most agile to beat away Gonzalo Higuain’s close-range effort at the other end.

And the night took a turn for the worse for Rodrigo Bentancur soon after, when he picked up an ill-deserved booking that will keep him out of the second leg.

Kroos then crashed a shot off the bar that had veteran keeper Gianluigi Buffon well beaten.

Ronaldo was at it again straight after the break, firing just wide across goal after good work from Benzema.

Walking yellow card Sergio Ramos was next to cop a second leg ban, though, when he tangled with Paolo Dybala.

But that was all forgotten when Ronaldo unfurled a perfect overhead kick that will be spoken about for years to come.

But it was just the start as the night unraveled for Juve.

Dybala had earlier been booked for diving and his night came to an early end when his high foot was rightly punished.

And Marcelo dinked over Buffon for the third on 72 minutes to cap a barmy five minutes.

Ronaldo somehow failed to net his hat-trick when he dragged over the bar from ten yards out in injury time.

He may just be human after all, then.

Sevilla 1-2 Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich claimed a vital pair of away goals from their trip to Sevilla in the Champions League quarter-finals.

Jupp Heynckes’ men were almost in front within a couple of minutes when Mats Hummels headed wide from a corner.

But the Spanish side grew into the game.

Franck Ribery managed to yell his way into the referee’s notebook after accusing last 16 star Wissam Ben Yedder of diving.

Fellow flier Joaquin Correa was then booked himself for, yep, diving.

Pablo Sarabia passed up a golden opportunity to put the hosts ahead when he inexplicably side-footed wide following Hummels’ half-clearance.

But he whacked past Sven Ulreich and, crucially, inside the post on 32 minutes.

Sevilla’s lead lasted five minutes.

Ribery’s early cross caught a heel of Jesus Navas and flummoxed keeper David Soria.

And the winger repeated the feat.

He picked out Thiago at the far post, who headed in via another deflection.

Sandro almost found a way back into it, only for his shot to be saved by Ulreich.
