Coming in fourth place is UFC star turned wrestler Ronda Rousey, who comes in with 16,963,293 Instagram followers and 3,377,825 on Twitter. Each month, there have been 582,000 searches for her name worldwide, and in the last 30 days, there have been 135,355 visits to her Wikipedia page.

Rounding out the top five is Triple H, another ex-wrestler on the list, currently acting as the Chief Content Officer for the WWE. He has 6,783,058 Instagram followers, 7,775,621 Twitter followers, and 205,624 Wikipedia page views in the last 30 days. There are also roughly 519,000 searches for his name each month worldwide.

Commenting on the findings, a spokesperson for wrestling-world.com said: “While it can be argued that many ex-wrestlers have built a strong platform post their wrestling career like in the case of The Rock, the sheer followings on social media for those still currently active shows how good of a reach wrestling has. Additionally, the strong social followings here also provide a pathway for many wrestlers to earn and grow outside of the competition, with brand deals and more.”
