Tatjana Schoenmaker has won South’s Africa’s THIRD gold medal of the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.

Schoenmaker triumphed in the women’s 200m breaststroke on Sunday in a time of 2:21.92.

Making it a race to remember for South Africa, Kaylene Corbett took the bronze medal in 2:23.67

Earlier, Lara van Niekerk (women’s 50m breaststroke) and Pieter Coetze (men’s 100m backstroke) finished first in their events to claim victory for Mzansi.
