Many believe that the Stormers are South Africa’s best chance at ending its Super Rugby title drought and the Cape Town side  will get their first chance to prove it when they host the Hurricanes in their opening match of the season.

It’s not a preposterous line of thinking. While the Bulls have said goodbye to some of their Springboks, the Stormers boast eight of them in their starting XV.

The arrival of Welsh legend Jamie Roberts as well as the stewardship of World Cup winning captain Siya Kolisi all adds impetus to the title hopes.

See how they get on in their opening fixture for the 2020 season.
