The buzz started last week with a report in Dutch outlet The Telegraaf stating that Mzansi has been added to next year’s schedule.

While there has been nothing confirmed via any official channels – either in South Africa or from the FIA – social media has been abuzz with reports that we will be welcoming Formula One back to South Africa after a 30 YEAR wait.

Sasha Martinengo, a leading voice on the Formula One scene, stated that the news comes from a “pretty reliable source”.
