MTN8 semifinals
Supersport United vs Mamelodi Sundowns at Lucas Moripe Stadium, Kick off at 15:00
The pick of the MTN8 semifinals is undoubtedly the Tshwane Derby between Supersport United and Mamelodi Sundowns. It’s the first of two legs, both taking place at Lucas Moripe Stadium. Kick off is at 15:00.
European Tour
The Omega European Master continue on Sunday, where South Africa’s Christiaan Bezuidenhout is still in the hunt, four shots off the pace at 11 under par. Also in contention is Erik van Rooyen at -8, as well as Dan Fichardt.

Currie Cup semifinals
The two Currie Cup finalists were confirmed on Saturday, with the Lions set to tackle the Free State Cheetahs in the last two.
The men from Johannesburg overcame the Griquas in the first semifinal, while the Cheetahs were too good for defending champions, the Sharks.
MTN8
The first MTN8 semifinal was an uninspiring goalless draw between Polokwane and Highlands Park at a windy Peter Mokaba Stadium.
There will be all to play for in the second leg at Makhulong Stadium, with one of the two set for their first ever cup final.
Bafana Bafana
The South African Football Association finally revealed Stuart Baxter’s permanent replacement, as they appointed caretaker coach Molefi Ntseki on a permanent basis. The former youth mentor has been given the Bafana job until 2022.
US Open
In tennis, Raven Klaasen who was South Africa’s only hope in the year’s final Grand Slam, the US Open, along with doubles partner Michael Venus from New Zealand saw their journey come to a premature end on Saturday.
Their journey ended when they were knocked out by Serbia’s Miomir Kecmanovic and Casper Ruud from Norway.
Africa Games
South Africa closed off the Africa Games in Rabat, Morocco with 87 medals.
This placed them third on the final standings, behind Egypt and Nigeria.
