The defending PSL champions are looking abroad again to bolster their attacking lineup and have been linked with many options.

But a name that keeps popping up is Ismael Diaz, so here is the factfile on the player after Kickoff reported further interest in the player. His current price valuation might be a stumbling block to any move to the PSL though.

  • Has a market valuation of roughly R14 million

Sundowns would be able to add another foreign player to their squad because Uruguayan attacker Gaston Sirino will qualify for the South African citizenship before the start of the new season.

Sundowns have Ahmed Nasir (Ethiopia), Abdelmounaim Boutouil (Morocco), Marcelo Allende (Chile), Erwin Saavedra (Uruguay) and Sirino as their foreign internationals.

A move to Chloorkop might be made less complicated because Diaz would be able to speak Spanish to the likes of Allende, Sirino and Saavedra.
