It’s going to be a tough, hard season for Burnley as a promoted side but they are making a fast start.

Foster was one of the players arriving back at the training ground ahead of the new season. Many players are still on international duty.

Broos left Burnley player out

The 22-year-old striker was left out of the Bafana Bafana squad to face Morocco on 17 June because Burnley manager Vincent Kompany and Hugo Broos opted to agree that Foster does pre-season with his club.

Bafana have already qualified so the decision makes sense. But it is good the country’s ambitions when the managers of clubs and the international coach have a good understanding.
