Cristiano Ronaldo, aka Mr Champions League, may not be done with the competition just yet.

There is reportedly a clause in Cristiano Ronaldo‘s new contract at Al Nassr which states that he may be able to play in the Champions League again before his career comes to an end, according to Marca.

CR7 signed for the Saudi Arabian Pro league outfit last week and his unveiling is set for Tuesday evening. The player stated that offers came in from Australia, the USA and across Portugal, but he was convinced by the sporting project at Al-Nassr. However, a clause inserted into his deal stating that if Newcastle United qualify for the Champions League, he could go there on loan as the Magpies are owned by the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund.

Cristiano Ronaldo is the all-time leading scorer in Champions league with 140 goals, and he’s also a five-time winner. It’s understandable that e might find it difficult to wave goodbye to that competition. For now, Ronaldo is focused on Al-Nassr for whom he could make his competitive debut on Thursday.
