Cristiano Ronaldo still going strong after two decades

The Al-Nassr striker has 12 goals in 16 games for his new club, which isn’t a bad record considering he’s 38 years old. Rewind to where it all began for Ronaldo at Sporting in Lisbon where he bagged five goals in 31 appearances before catching the eye of Sir Alex Ferguson.

Ronaldo as a Red Devil

CR7 spent two stints with Man United where he scored 145 goals in 346 appearances. He won the Champions League there in 2008 after an astonishing season which saw him score 42 goals in 37 appearances across all competitions. Although things ended on a sour note between Ronaldo and the club at the end of 2022, he is still adored at Old Trafford.

Rinaldo is a national hero in Portugal

He led the side to Euro 2016 glory, their first and only major trophy, and he’s scored 122 times in 198 appearances for them. That makes him the most prolific international goal-scorer in the men’s game. Overall, across club and country, Ronaldo has scored 835 goals in 1163 appearances. Truly astonishing.
