Europe’s premier club competition is down to the last eight. So, when is the UEFA Champions League draw taking place? Here’s all the info.

There are just eight teams left in Europe’s most prestigious club competition. With the Champions League draw for the quarterfinals taking place on Friday, we’ve got all the info you need.

The draw starts at 13:00 (SA time) on Friday 17 March. As ever, it takes place in Nyon Switzerland.

From this stage in the competition, teams from the same country can face one another. There will also be no seedings, meaning home and away legs will be determined by the order in which teams are drawn. Each quarterfinal tie will be assigned a number between one and four. Those new balls will determine the semifinal ties.
The third draw will determine the ‘home’ side at the final at Istanbul’s Atatürk Olympic Stadium.

The first legs of the quarterfinal take place on Tuesday 11 and Wednesday 12 April, with the return legs scheduled for 18 and 19 April. The semifinals are on 9/10 and 16/17 May. The final takes place on Saturday 10 June.

Napoli have arguably become the tournament’s dark horses. Nobody will want to draw the current runaway Serie A leaders, who are playing some swashbuckling football under coach Luciano Spalletti. 22-year-old Georgian winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, nicknamed Kvaradona, and 24-year-old Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, are tow of the hottest properties on the planet right now.
