Thabo Cele’s ‘deal’ to Radomiak falls through, Kaizer Chiefs to pounce?

South Africa youth international Thabo Cele will NOT be joining Polish outfit Radomiak Radom after his proposed deal fell through.

South Africa youth international Thabo Cele will NOT be joining Polish outfit Radomiak Radom after his proposed deal fell through.

Cele, 24, traveled to Poland this week to undergo a trial with Radomiak in an attempt to secure a deal.

However, it has now emerged that the deal is off the table after the two parties failed to agree terms on the deal.

According to Polish publication Weszlo, Cele’s high salary demands are the reason the proposed deal fell through.

The publication further reports that Radomiak will now focus on negotiating a deal with Brazilian midfielder Luizao who’s currently plying his trade in Ukraine.

WHAT’S NEXT FOR CELE?

Cele is currently a free agent, and he’s likely to return to Portugal where he has made a name for himself over the years.

Kaizer Chiefs are also reported to be interested in the midfielder so much so that the reports suggest that he is sitting with an offer from the Soweto giants.

And the biggest question is whether or not Chiefs will pounce and bring Cele back from Europe now that he’s no longer moving to Poland.
