Winger Thabiso Kutumela has a bleak future at Mamelodi Sundowns if the latest media reports around his career are to be trusted.

Mamelodi Sundowns are reportedly planning on sending Thabiso Kutumela out on loan ahead of next season.

The former Orlando Pirates and Maritzburg United man enjoyed limited game-time at Chloorkop last season.

In fact, Kutumela made just three starts for Rhulani Mokwena’s side this season.

Kutumela gone for now … at least

“The good thing is both the club and the player agree that for now a loan move is the best solution to the situation that they are faced with.” a source told SoccerLaduma.

“He had a chance to play before but if you look at the other players that the team brought in then his chances of playing are becoming very slim.

“So, they have decided that it’s better to loan him out for next season. You know his contract runs until June 2026 so he can not just be sitting without playing if you look at his age.

“For now, it’s not known which team he will be loaned to because they have just taken that decision.”

He made over 50 appearances for Sundowns, scoring five goals and chipping in with six assists.
