FIFA World Cup 2022 got underway on Sunday with hosts Qatar losing 2-0 to Ecuador in Group A. Who’s facing who on Monday?

FIFA World Cup 2022 got underway on Sunday with hosts Qatar losing 2-0 to Ecuador in Group A. Who’s facing who on Monday?

Qatar set an unwanted record after they became the first country to lose the opening match of the FIFA World Cup.

Here we take a look at what’s next on matchday two.

FIFA WORLD CUP MONDAY FIXTURES

Group B will begin on Monday with England tackling Iran at 15:00 (SA time) in what will be a David versus Goliath clash.

Following that, Senegal, who were dealt huge blow losing Sadio Mane before the tournament due to injury, will square off with the Netherlands in a Group A match at 18:00 (SA time).

The last game of the day will see the USA and Wales facing off in the second match of Group B at 21:00 (SA time).
