The Buccaneers head into this encounter looking to do better than last year when they crashed out of the quarter-finals at the hands of Raja Casablanca.

And with this being the first ever meeting between Simba and Pirates, the technical teams of the two teams should be smart in their approaches.

Form-wise, Pirates have the edge over Simba, simply because they have won three of their last five CAF Confederation Cup while the Tanzanian giants have won just two of their last five matches in the competition.

According to the Buccaneers, the match will be screened LIVE on SuperSport PSL channel 202 at 18:00.

The SABC Sport will also cover this encounter between Simba and Pirates on their Open View channel 124 but the free-to-air channels won’t broadcast the match.
