Nange gone, but who’s next?

Nange made 31 appearances since joining the club in 2021. He registered two goals to his name as a Glamour Boy.

“Nange is gone. He is among a number of players that have been locked in a series of meetings with the club’s management. The club will also make an announcement on Itumeleng Khune and Khama Billiat soon.” – a source told KickOff.

Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana is another player unlikely to be in a Chiefs jersey next season.

Chiefs are unlikely to sign top target Junior Mendieta.

Kaizer Chiefs were credited with the early interest in Mendieta, in fact they are thought to be two years into their interest in the Argentine star.

Club sporting director Kaizer Motaung Junior has also come out publicly to confirm the club’s interest in the player saying:

“Of course Mendieta is down to Stellenbosch’s strategic outlook for him. We know he is contracted and I think as time goes on we will see who where we are. He is a top talent.

“We would like to have him, we would like to have (Khanyisa Mayo) all these are great players.

“Our supporters mentioning their names, shows they understand the game, but the coach and his staff will give us an indication of their requirements, we don’t sign the players and present them to the coach, the coaches will guide us on this one” to Radio200.
