Endrick: Real Madrid agree €72m deal for 16-year-old Brazilian prodigy
Real Madrid are no strangers to plundering the South American market, and now they’ve officially agreed to sign teenager Endrick for €72m.

Real Madrid have officially signed 16-year-old Brazilian wonderkid Endrick on a long-term contract from Palmeiras.
He’ll return to Palmeiras in his native Brazil and only join Spanish giants Real In July 2024 when he turns 18. The fee is believed to be a structured deal in the region of €72m which includes add-ons and incentives.

Endrick has caused quite an online stir with rumours previously linking him to Chelsea, PSG, Barcelona and just about everyone else in Europe.
“I’ll always fight. I’ll be persistent and try until the last minute I’m in the game. I never give up, I pressure defenders, I run more than anyone else on the pitch.” Endrick has said in the past.

Physically he has been compared to Brazilian great Romário because of his small stature, low centre of gravity and explosive power. Stylistically, there have been comparisons to Kun Agüero in the way that he explodes down the sides of defenders.

Endrick is now the most expensive Brazilian signing in Real Madrid history, eclipsing esteemed names such as Kaká, Éder Militão, Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo and Robinho.
The Palmeiras president Leila Pereira said: “We have completed the biggest negotiation in the history of Brazilian football.
“Real Madrid’s proposal is compatible with Endrick’s enormous talent and corresponds to the sporting and financial goals that we have established since the beginning of negotiations.”
