Top scorers in the PSL era: Grobler, Billiat, Shalulile in the hunt

Namibian marksman Shalulile has hit 98* goals for Sundowns across all competitions, which is a frightening number considering he hasn’t been around for that long. All-time, the great Siyabonga Nomvete remains the most prolific player in the PSL era with 123 goals to his name. Bradley Grobler is the only active player to have hit a century, but Shalulile is hot on his heels…

Shalulile charging towards 100

Note that with Shalulile’s brace against Al Ahly and another brace tonight against Royal AM, he moves up to 98 goals for PSL clubs (71* for Sundowns and 27 for Highlands Park), just a single strike behind Kaizer Chiefs star Khama Billiat. Shalulile is almost certain to hit the century this season, though, whereas Billiat is out for the remainder of the campaign.
