When are the next MTN8 and DStv Premiership matches?

With the MTN8 final taking centre stage this coming weekend, it’s going to be some time until we see DStv Premiership action again.

If you’re not an Orlando Pirates or AmaZulu supporter eagerly anticipating the MTN8 final this coming weekend, then you’ve got a long wait until you next get to see your team in action.

MTN8 final takes centre stage for now

Orlando Pirates and AmaZulu will contest the MTN8 final staged at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday November 5th. Kickoff is at 18:00.

Pirates succesfully shut out Mamelodi Sundowns in the second leg of their semifinal after sweeping away the Brazilians 3-0 in the first leg. AmaZulu got the better of Kaizer Chiefs over two ill-tempered legs of semifinal football.

As for the DStv Premiership, well, supporters of South African top-flight football are about to start experiencing some withdrawal symptoms. The next round of fixtures starts on the 30th of December. Yes, two whole months away.
