TS Galaxy have officially acquired the services of former Kaizer Chiefs target Sibusiso Vilakazi from Mamelodi Sundowns.

TS Galaxy have officially acquired the services of former Kaizer Chiefs target Sibusiso Vilakazi from Mamelodi Sundowns.

Vilakazi’s arrival at TS Galaxy comes as a shock given that he was most recently linked with a move to Naturena.
But, of course, those reports stemmed from 2014 when Vilakazi was still at Bidvest Wits – at the time, Chiefs showed huge interest in him.

However, in July 2016, Sundowns managed to convince Wits to sell Vila to them in exchange of a few players, including Mogakolodi Ngele on loan.
Now, Vilakazi has resurfaced at TS Galaxy although details around his contract with them are yet to be made public.

Having spent six years with Sundowns, Vilakazi leaves having achieved his goal of winning major trophies as a professional footballer.

The 32-year-old won every domestic trophy on offer with Sundowns, including five league titles during his time with the Brazilians.
Vilakazi leaves having played 138 competitive matches for Sundowns. He scored 29 goals and provided 21 assists during that period.

Vila becomes the second high-profile player to be unveiled by TS Galaxy on Thursday after Xola Mlambo’s arrival on a free transfer as reported by The South African website.
