Mamelodi Sundowns have secured the signings of TWO promising midfielders – Thulani Zandamela and Tumelo Molubi – from Varsity Football champions, University of Johannesburg.

According to the Soccer Laduma website, the teenagers played influential roles in their university’s 3-1 win over the University of Free State in the final and caught the attentions of the reigning DStv Premiership champions.
Both players have been registered with Mamelodi Sundowns’ affiliate club M-Tigers and the DStv Diski Challenge squad for the 2021/22 season as they look to develop further.

Meanwhile, as reported by The South African website, the duo’s UJ team-mate Tristan Nikitaridis recently landed a contract with DStv Premiership side Baroka FC.
