TS Galaxy have announced their first major signing of the January transfer window in preparation for the second half of the season.

Former Maritzburg United and Black Leopards dribbling wizard Lefa Hlongwane was unveiled as a Galaxy player on Saturday afternoon.
In a short statement released on the day, Galaxy said Hlongwane had penned a three-year deal with the Rockets.

Galaxy further revealed that Tim Sukazi was excited with the acquisition of Hlongwane who had not had a club since November 2021.
“TS Galaxy Football Club has captured the signature of former Maritzburg United dribbling wizard Lefa Hlongwane.
“Hlongwane has penned a three-year deal with the Rockets. TSG President Tim Sukazi is overwhelmed with excitement about securing the services of Hlongwane.”

Hlongwane was a regular for Maritzburg United until he was dismissed in November, reportedly for his excessive partying.

He left Maritzburg United having made 12 league appearances for them this season with a single goal to his name.
