Mamelodi Sundowns attacking midfielder Themba Zwane has made big promises to the Brazilians’ fans on what they must expect when they lock horns with Cape Town City on Friday, 5 August.

It’s the DStv Premiership title holders who take on last season’s runners-up in the very first game of the new season. That should be an action-packed one.

ZWANE ON WHAT SUNDOWNS FANS MUST EXPECT IN A MATCH AGAINST CITY

‘Mshishi’ who’s the heart-pumping machine for Bafana Bastyle has promised the Yellow Nation “an aggressive game with goals” against The Citizens.

“We need supporters to come in numbers, they always push us to win games and we feel happy when they are around. Supporters can expect to see an aggressive game with goals when we face Cape Town City,” Zwane told Sundowns website.

“Cape Town City is a good team, we need to be more organised and be more focused. We need to finish off the game because we are playing away, and when they are at home they are aggressive and we need to be aggressive also.”

Further, last season they took to the battlefield in the MTN 8 final where City pushed the so-called big ‘Downs to the penalty shootout, but unfortunately lost in the end.
