Kekana has held talks with Baroka FC but is also listening to offers from Amazulu and Cape Town City, who could both use an experienced midfielder of his quality.

“Hlompho met with Baroka last week,” a source told KickOff.

“He is still undecided about his next move regarding his soccer career.

“Both AmaZulu and Cape Town Town have also made enquiries.”

Maritzburg United striker bound for the USA

Bongokuhle Hlongwane is reportedly going to America.

According to MLSSoccer.com, Hlongwane will be added to Minnesota United’s roster as a Under 22 Initiative signing.

Hlongwane is expected to offer immediate first team coverage behind starting trio Adrien Hunou, Robin Lod and Franco Fragapane.

Marumo Gallants deny contact from Kaizer Chiefs

Marumo Gallants insist that Katlego Otladisa is staying in Limpopo despite speculation linking him to Kaizer Chiefs.

Otladisa created a buzz on social media with an Instagram post that some interpreted to be a message indicating that he was bound for Naturena.

Rufus Matsena, the club’s spokesperson told Soccer Laduma he is staying put, though, as he has just signed a new contract.

“He signed a three-year deal with us last year. The only people who are selling our players is the newspapers, not the team,” Matsena said.

“I mean the other thing is if he wrote love and peace and people assume that he is going to Kaizer Chiefs. Its only fair that you should ask Kaizer Chiefs. From our side, no comment from our side.

Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs after Sirino?

Mamelodi Sundowns signing of Bradley Ralani has sparked speculation that out-of-favour Uruguayan striker Gaston Sirino could be on the move.

Sirino was linked with a move to Egypt earlier this season but now it has been suggested by Goal.com that he could be on his way to either Orlando Pirates or Kaizer Chiefs.

Sundowns co-coach Rhulani Mokwena would not be drawn on the speculation and said that in a squad like theirs there will always be players struggling for game-time.

“We are fortunate that we have a squad where anybody can play and it is a good headache for us as coaches and at times we are unfair to some of the players, unfortunately, that’s the reality,” Mokwena was quoted saying by the Citizen.

“If you ask why Gaston is not playing, then you have to ask yourself why are Neo Maema and Thabiso Kutumela playing? And when you ask that question, the answer is on the pitch.

“Sometimes there are players who are not playing because we can only play 11. Huge compliments to their professionalism. Gaston, Sibusiso Vilakazi, Aubrey Modiba and players like Lesedi Kapinga and George Maluleka are not playing much.”
