Thabiso Kutumela to rival Mamelodi Sundowns duo for top PSL awards!
Maritzburg United striker Thabiso Kutumela will rival Mamelodi Sundowns duo of Peter Shalulile and Themba Zwane for two top PSL awards.

Maritzburg United striker Thabiso Kutumela will rival Mamelodi Sundowns duo of Peter Shalulile and Themba Zwane for two top PSL awards.

Kutumela has been nominated for the DStv Players’ Player of the Season award alongside Shalulile and Zwane.
The trio will again battle it out for the most prestigious award – the Footballer of the Season award – which is voted for by PSL club coaches and captains.

This despite Kutumela’s team finding itself in the bottom of half of the log, but it is worth mentioning that the Bafana Bafana attacker played a pivotal role in helping the Team of Choice move away from the relegation zone.
He has scored 12 goals in 26 league games while providing a single assist for Ernst Middendorp’s side this season.

Shalulile and Zwane have been in top form for Sundowns this season, contributing a combined 20 leaguw goals for the club.
Shalulile has alone scored 11 goals with six assists to go with it while Zwane has netted nine times in 23 league games for Sundowns.
The awards ceremony will take place on Sunday, 6 June 2021 at 20:00.
