The Telkom Knockout edges closer to conclusion, and the first of the semifinals features Golden Arrows, who host Mamelodi Sundowns at Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The two sides met in a league game at the same venue earlier in the season, where the hosts were victorious in a five-goal thriller.
Nevertheless, the Tshwane giants still remain the favourites to pull through, as they pursue their first cup title since 2016.
However, standing in their way is a wiley character in Steve Komphela.
The Bafana legends fancies his chances of getting past one of the country’s biggest clubs and revealed who he would love to face in the final.
“It would be nice, how nice it would be if it can be Maritzburg United and us in the final,” he said.
“Listen, make no mistake, we are up against Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns but KwaZulu-Natal in my opinion did very well to be in the semis.”
