SuperSport United complete the signing of Aubrey Ngoma!

SuperSport United have reportedly completed the signing of former Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates winger Aubrey Ngoma.

SuperSport United have reportedly completed the signing of former Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates winger Aubrey Ngoma.

According to Daily Sun, Ngoma has put pen to paper after impressing the Matsatsantsa technical team during his trial period.

Ngoma had been training with SuperSport United since the start of the 2022 following months in the wilderness.

Last week, SuperSport United CEO Stanley Matthews confirmed that the acquisition of Ngoma was imminent.

At the time, Matthews said the two parties were finalising the terms of the deal, and it appears this has now been finalised.

Ngoma, 32, is likely to make Kaitano Tembo’s matchday squad for Sunday’s league encounter against Royal AM.

“Yes, Ngoma is officially a SuperSport United player. He is not match fit because he did not play for a long time. The club decided to give him a chance and strengthened the midfield,” said an official known to Daily Sun.

“He has been working hard in training and showed that he can add value to the team. He will serve as a motivation to the young players. He will help the club reach its target of finishing in the top six with his experience,” added the official.

SuperSport United are expected to unveil Ngoma before the end of this week – the left-winger is reported be elated with the deal.

For Ngoma, SuperSport United becomes the sixth top-flight club having played for the likes of AmaTuks, Mpumalanga Black Aces and Cape Town City among others.
