Sundowns aren’t the type of football team to become complacent, no matter how good they are. Masandawana are about to pounce on a big talent.

The business model at Chloorkop is working well with the acquisition of the finest established talents around, but also identification of the game’s emerging stars.

Sundowns keen creative talent from Namibia

Mamelodi Sundowns are thought to be on the verge of snapping up Namibian international Prins Tjiueza who currently plays his football in Kosovo with Liria Prizren. According to Soccer-Laduma, Sundowns have been tracking Tjiueza for a while. They might just make their move at the end of the current campaign.

Tjiueza to Sundowns on the cards?

“I don’t want to say straight away that it is a done deal, but there have been meetings between the player, his representatives and Sundowns. It could as well be between 80% and 90% percent a done deal as we speak. The player (Tjiueza) also met some Sundowns officials before and after the game against Cameroon” revealed a source close to Soccer Laduma.

Just take a look at this guy’s flamboyant skills.

Tjiueza familiar with the Sundowns setup

Soccer Laduma’s sources claim that not only has Prins met up with Downs officials, but members of his family too.

“Apparently his parents were at Chloorkop and they were there to talk about his move. But let’s wait and see because he is currently playing in Europe and his agent is in Europe. But Sundowns seem to have sealed the deal already with the player”. The source concluded.

Downs boss Rhulani Mokwena was in the stands for Namibia’s recent AFCON qualifier where they beat Cameroon. Peter Shalulile was on the score sheet, and Prins Tjiueza was operating just behind him in the number 10 role. Very interesting indeed.
