Sundowns: EIGHT players likely to leave on various terms

PSL champions Mamelodi Sundowns will be parting with some cream talent. This was confirmed by Rhulani Mokwena.

Every PSL club must be licking lips when you consider the talent at Chloorkop.

Let’s look at the possible names.

MOKWENA CONFIRMS SUNDOWNS WILL RELEASE PLAYERS

As The South African website reported, Mokwena revealed what many hungry clubs across Mzansi want to hear.

The former Orlando Pirates coach said up to five players could be led out of the Chloorkop gate.

“There’ll be a couple of players leaving but we’ll make the announcements in due course. There’s be a couple – three or four, maybe even five – who will still leave,” said Mokwena as per SABC Sport.

LIST OF LIKELY NAMES TO LEAVE

In the meantime, we have looked at the team’s statistics last season, as well as the loaned-out players to form a list of the likely departures.

Some players will be leaving Sundowns on loan while others are expected to sign out for good.

Check out the list below:

  1. Ricardo Goss – Permament departure to be replaced by Ronwen Williams
  2. Jody February – Expected to make Swallows loan a permanent deal
  3. Promise Mkhuma – Linked with loan move to Cape Town City
  4. Grant Margeman – Linked with a permanent move to SuperSport United
  5. Gift Motupa – Linked with a loan move to SuperSport United.

Other possibilities:

  1. Sifiso Ngobeni – Loan
  2. Luvuyo Phewa – Loan
  3. Pule Maraisane – Loan.

Additionally, Phakamani Mahlambi’s agent has already confirmed the former Bidvest Wits star has left Kabo Yellow.
