Mokwena explains Sundowns CAFCL heartbreak

“What is clear and evident is the fact that we haven’t been in the semi-finals for the last three years of a very important and a difficult competition.” – Sundowns coach Mokwena told SoccerLaduma.

“And so the mistakes are evident, even though they are marginal. But this game that we play in this competition, in particular, does not allow for mistakes because you get punished.

“At the moment I’m too emotional to give a summation, however, what I can say is that I’m extremely proud of the players. I’m proud of the effort, I’m proud that in a very difficult competition we finished unbeaten.”

Ditlhokwe opens up on Amakhosi move

“One thing I can tell, I’m a captain of my national team; I’m a player for my national team. I captained my national team at the age of 21. So I don’t think there’s any pressure that can come more than what I’ve already passed through.” the Kaizer Chiefs-bound defender told iDiskiTimes.

“That is one thing you must consider. It’s a normal challenge that every player must face. For you to grow, you must have challenges. There’s no player that can grow without challenges. You need to be tested, so it’s a big test, I know.

“But at the end of the day, the same way I’ve managed [until now] is the same way I have will manage.”
