Stuart Baxter is the highest-paid coach in the DStv Premiership taking home more than Mamelodi Sundowns duo Manqoba Mngqithi and Rulani Mokwena and AmaZulu boss Benni McCarthy.

Baxter was brought back to Naturena in the hope that he could return Kaizer Chiefs to their glory days.

Amakhosi tasted success under Baxter when he won the double with them in his very first season in charge back in 2012/13 and also won the 2014/15 PSL title with Amakhosi.

That was the last time Kaizer Chiefs lifted silverware and Kaizer Motaung has invested a lot of money in bringing Baxter back in the hope he can end the club’s six-year trophy drought.

According to sarichandfamous, Stuart Baxter takes home a whopping R850 000 a month!

This is comfortably more than his coaching counterparts, McCarthy (R600 000) and Mngqithi (R750 000).

It also means he is the third-highest earner at Kaizer Chiefs, earning even more than Khama Billiat (R830 000).

Only Samir Nurkovic (R950 000) and Keagan Dolly (R1.45 million) earn more than their coach.

Baxter’s worth will be tested when his side takes on defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns on Sunday, 12 September.
