Stellenbosch FC have released SEVEN more players as they look to streamline their squad ahead of the 2022/23 DStv Premiership season.
ICYMI: PIRATES ACT FAST, BEAT CHIEFS IN RECRUITMENT OF YOUNGSTERS
Leaving the Winelands-based side are Granwald Scott, Nathan Sinkala, Sibusiso Mthethwa, Waseem Isaacs, Marc van Heerden, Robyn Johannes and Stanley Dimgba.
Those departures come hot on the heels of those of Ashley du Preez and Zitha Kwinika who have both signed for Kaizer Chiefs.
Stellenbosch FC enjoyed a stellar 2021/22 season
Stellies enjoyed an incredible 2021/22 league campaign, ending in fourth place behind champions Mamelodi Sundowns, Cape Town City FC and Royal AM.

Stellenbosch FC posted on social media: “Thank you Scotty! The club can confirm that Granwald Scott’s contract will not be renewed for the 2022/23 season.
“We’d like to thank Scott for his incredible service both on and off the pitch and wish him well in his future endeavors.
“Thank you Nathan! The club wishes Nathan Sinkala a prosperous future ahead and would like to thank him for the wealth of experience he brought on and off the pitch.
“We’d like to thank Sibusiso Mthethwa for the incredible memories over the years and unbelievable service to the club.
“We wish Sbu well in his future endeavors.”
