We have never seen such an early kit leak. It’s only June. Anyways, Orlando Pirates supporters may have just seen next season’s possible home kit.

After seeing the jersey pop around social media today, one of the leading football pages, Unplayable, posted the image of what could be Orlando Pirates’ leaked kit for next season. The design is the black home colour that includes red Adidas stripes on the shoulders, as well as the Vodacom sponsor in red.

Orlando Pirates made early moves by announcing six player departures. Two of them were goalkeepers Richard Ofori and Siyabonga Mpontshane.

With Sipho Chaine and Melusi Bethuelezi owning the number one and number two places respectively last season, the 23-year-old Dladla is taking the number three spot.

According to Austin Ditlhohobolo, Dladla has signed to play his football for the senior team.

“Replacing Richard Ofori & Siyabonga Mpontshane: New Orlando Pirates goalkeeper,” Ditlhohobolo said on Facebook.

“Siyabonga Dladla, 23, has signed his first professional contract and he is now part of the Buccaneers’ first team ahead of the 2024/25 season,” the report concluded.

Orlando Pirates have already made two more big decisions to replace senior players in midfield. Newer reports say the Sea Robbers have signed the replacements.

Jose Riveiro’s team confirmed parting ways with two senior midfielders Fortune Makaringe and Thabang Monare last week. Not too long after that, Orlando Pirates reportedly signed Thalente Mbatha on a permanent deal.

According to SABC Sport, Mbatha’s former SuperSport United teammate, Selaelo Rasebotja has also put pen to papter to join Orlando Pirates.

Mbatha, who plays as a six, is Monare’s replacement, while Rasebotja, an eight, will take Makaringe’s place.
