If you haven’t got your ticket to watch the Soweto Derby secured by Thursday, 23 February you are likely to miss out on the game.
That is the message being given by the FNB Stadium management team.
Soweto Derby to sell out on Thursday?
A total of 84,700 tickets are on sale to the public with the cheapest costing R100 but they are selling out quickly.

And Stadium Management South Africa CEO Bertie Grobbelaar believes it won’t be long before no tickets are left.
“I see us selling out by Thursday. Obviously what plays a role is the time of the month. Most people have not been paid yet and it’s difficult times,” Grobbelaar said.

Can Zwane turn it around?
Chiefs fans have been voicing their frustrations with the team following a string of bad results. It leaves them in poor form with just one win in their last five ahead of the Soweto Derby kicking off.
Coach Arthur Zwane was booed off following the 3-2 loss to Golden Arrows on the weekend. Zwane wasn’t surprised by the reaction to the defeat from the club’s faithful supporters.
“Ja [they were booing me]. Look, it’s within their rights. I mean they are disappointed because they believed we should have won this game,” Zwane said in his post-match press conference.
“I also believed we should have wrapped it up in the first half. We let ourselves down and I understand their frustrations.”
The Soweto Derby kicks off at 15:00 on Saturday.
