Soweto derby: Advantage Orlando Pirates?

Saturday’s Soweto derby at the FNB Stadium promises to be a blockbuster affair – and a match NOT to be missed!

It’s the first derby of the season and supporters of Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates will have circled Saturday, 6 November 2021 in their diary’s the moment the fixtures were released.

However, Orlando Pirates enter the match on the back of a come-from-behind 2-1 win at home against Sekhukhune United, while Kaizer Chiefs lost 1-0 at home to Stellenbosch FC in matches played on Tuesday.

While the form book will be thrown out the window when the two sides meet, despite being the away side, Orlando Pirates may well hold a slight advantage.
